Philippe is moving toward the west-northwest near 2 mph or 4 km/h. Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph or 75 km/h, with higher gusts. Interests in the Leeward Islands should continue to monitor the progress of this system.

At 5:00 pm today, the center of Tropical Storm Rina was located near latitude 18.1 degrees North, longitude 46.2 degrees West. Rina is moving toward the northwest near 14 mph or 22 km/h. Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph or 65 km/h, with higher gusts. This system does not pose a threat to our region at this time.
