TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
Moisture and instability in the atmosphere over the region, will continue to produce some scattered showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms over the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours.
An area of low pressure located a few hundred miles east of the Leeward Islands continues to drift slowly west-northwestward. This system has a low chance of tropical cyclone development during the next seven days.
A second area of low pressure located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving west-northwestward near 9 mph or 15 km/h. This system also has a low chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next seven days.
A third area of low pressure located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic has been upgraded to Tropical Depression Seven. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 18 mph or 30 km/h and could become a tropical storm tonight or on Thursday.
These three systems are expected to remain over the Atlantic Ocean during the next few days and do not pose a threat to our region at this time.
