TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
Moisture and instability associated with Tropical Storm Philippe, will continue to cause scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the region during the next 24 hours.

At 5:00 pm today, the center of Tropical Storm Philippe was located near latitude 16.4 degrees North, longitude 59.0 degrees West or about 160 miles or 255 kilometers east of Guadeloupe. Philippe is moving toward the west-northwest near 7 mph or 11 km/h. Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph or 85 km/h, with higher gusts. A tropical storm watch has been issued for Antigua and Barbuda. Other interests in the Leeward Islands should continue to monitor the progress of this system.
