A weak surface trough will cause an increase in cloudiness and scattered showers over the Leeward Islands, during the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, patches of low-level clouds drifting along the wind flow, will cause occasional showery periods over the remainder of the region, during the forecast period.
A plume of Saharan dust haze will continue to cause a reduction in air quality and visibility across the Eastern Caribbean, during the forecast period.
A tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 9 mph or 15 km/h. This wave is expected to affect the region from late Tuesday into Wednesday.
