TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
The atmosphere over our region remains sufficiently moist and unstable to cause some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the islands, during the next 24 hours.
Two areas of low pressure located a few hundred miles east of the Leeward Islands and over the western Tropical Atlantic, continues to drift slowly west-northwestward and westward, respectively. These systems have a low chance of tropical cyclone development during the next seven days.

At 11:00 am today, Tropical Depression Seven was located near latitude 17.8 north, longitude 34.6 west. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 17 mph or 28 km/h. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph or 55 km/h, with higher gusts. The depression could become a tropical storm later today or tonight and pose no threat to our region at this time.
