The atmosphere over the region is sufficiently moist and unstable to produce some scattered showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms over the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours.
Two areas of low pressure, located a few hundred miles east of the Leeward Islands and further east, continues to drift slowly west-northwestward. These systems have a low chance of tropical cyclone development during the next seven days.
Tropical Depression Seven is located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving toward the west-northwest near 17 mph or 28 km/h. The depression could become a tropical storm later today, Thursday and pose no threat to our region at this time.
