TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Weak unstable conditions in the atmosphere over the Lesser Antilles, will cause a few showers over the islands, during the forecast period.

Saharan dust haze in varying concentrations will impact visibility and air quality across the region, during the next few days.

Tropical Storm Leslie continues to move northward away from the Lesser Antilles and does not pose a threat to our region.

A tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.

Another tropical wave associated with an area of low pressure located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. This system has a medium chance of tropical cyclone development, during the next several days.
