FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Generally cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, over the southern Windward Islands and areas further south. Elsewhere, fair to occasionally cloudy and hazy, with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will maintain moderate to brisk easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean, during the next few days.

A plume of Saharan dust haze will cause a reduction in visibility and air quality over the Lesser Antilles, during the next few days.

A tropical wave in the vicinity of the southern Lesser Antilles will affect the that portion of the region during the forecast period.

Two other tropical waves located over the eastern and far-eastern Tropical Atlantic are moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic, during the next seven (7) days.
