FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Over the southern Windward islands, it will be occasionally cloudy, with scattered showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms. Elsewhere it will be fair to partly cloudy, hazy and breezy with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moisture and instability associated with a tropical wave will continue to cause some cloudiness and showers over the extreme southern portion of the region tonight.

A second tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.  This wave is expected to cause cloudiness, showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms over our region from Thursday evening into Friday.

A third tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave is embedded in a large area of Saharan dust and is expected to affect the region by late Friday into Saturday.

A fourth tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during the next five days.
