Moisture and instability trailing Hurricane Teddy is expected to produce some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours.

At 11:00 am today, the center of Hurricane Teddy was located near latitude 26.0 degrees north, longitude 59.0 degrees west or about 560 miles or 900 kilometers southeast of Bermuda. Teddy is moving toward the northwest near 14 mph or 22 km/h and this motion is expected to continue today.
Hurricane Teddy does not pose a direct threat to our region, however swells generated by this system will continue to affect the Lesser Antilles into the weekend.
…Tropical Storm Wilfred…
At 11:00 am today, the centre of Tropical Storm Wilfred was located over the central tropical Atlantic near latitude 13.4 degrees north, longitude 38.1 degrees west. Wilfred is moving toward the west-northwest near 14 mph or 22 km/h and this general motion is expected for the next few days. Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph or 65 km/h with higher gusts. Small fluctuations in intensity are possible over the weekend. Weakening should begin by late Sunday and Wilfred will become a remnant low in a few days.
Tropical Storm Wilfred is not expected to pose a threat to our region.
A tropical wave is located near the West Coast of Africa and will move westward over the eastern Atlantic during the next few days. Development of this system, if any, will be slow to occur during the next few days
