FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Over the central and southern Windward Islands, generally cloudy to overcast skies with scattered moderate to heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms. Elsewhere, fair to partly cloudy and hazy with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

High moisture levels and instability associated with the passage and the presence of the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), will continue to cause cloudy conditions with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across the central and southern portions of the Lesser Antilles during the forecast period.

A second active tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward at about 12 mph or 19 km/h. This wave has a low chance for tropical cyclone formation during the next five days, as it moves west-north-westward.

A third tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward at about 15 mph or 24 km/h.
