Over the Grenadines southward to Trinidad and Tobago, it will be occasionally cloudy with some showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Elsewhere, it will be generally fair and hazy with a few showers.
TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
Moisture and instability associated with the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), will cause some cloudy spells with showers and possible isolated thunderstorms over the extreme southern section of our region during the next 24 hours.
A weak tropical wave is over Lesser Antilles. This system is not expected to cause significant rainfall during its passage over the islands.
Two other tropical waves located over the central and eastern Tropical Atlantic are moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. At 11:00 am today, Tropical Depression Ten remains over the open waters of the Atlantic located near latitude 18.8 degrees north, longitude 50.2 degrees west or about 770 miles or 1240 kilometres east of the Leeward Islands. The depression continues to move northward near 12 mph or 19 km/h. This system is expected to remain over the open Atlantic and not pose a threat to the Eastern Caribbean region.
