FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Over the northern Windward Islands and areas further south it will be generally cloudy with scattered showers which maybe heavy in some locations and isolated thunderstorms. Elsewhere partly cloudy skies becoming cloudy at times with a few scattered showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A tropical wave together with an upper level trough system, will continue to cause cloudiness, showers and thunderstorms mainly over the southern half of the Eastern Caribbean region, during the next 24 hours.

A surface trough located over the central Tropical Atlantic is drifting slowly westward and is expected to affect our region over the weekend.

A second tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
