Partly cloudy to cloudy, with scattered light to moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms over the Leeward to central Windward Islands. Further south, fair to partly cloudy with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A trough system will continue to cause cloudiness, showers and isolated thunder-storms over the northern to central portions of the Lesser Antilles during the next 12 to 24 hours.

Tropical Storm Philippe remains over the open waters of the North Atlantic Islands. Philippe is moving toward the west near 5 mph or 7 km/h. Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph or 85 km/h, with higher gusts. Interests in the Leeward Islands should monitor the progress of this system.

A strong tropical wave associated with and area of low pressure, located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. This wave has a high chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next 48 hours.
