FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy and hazy, with a few showers, becoming increasingly cloudy over the southern Lesser Antilles, with scattered showers which may be locally heavy and isolated thunderstorms.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moist and unstable conditions associated with a trough system, will continue to cause cloudiness with showers over the northern portion of the region, during the next 24 hours.

A tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Windward Islands, is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.  This system is expected to cause an increase in cloudiness, showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over the southern half of the region, during the forecast period.

Another tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic, is also moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will continue to generate light to moderate easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean, over the next couple of days.
