The Atlantic High-Pressure System will continue to generate light to moderate easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean, during the next couple of days. Low-level cloud patches drifting along the wind flow will cause a few showery periods over most of the region, during the next 24 hours.
A tropical wave located over the western Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. This wave is expected to begin affecting the southern portion of the region from Saturday afternoon.
Another tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic, is also moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.
A third tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
A plume of Saharan dust haze in varying concentrations will impact visibility and air quality across the region, over the next few days.
