TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Patches of low-level clouds drifting along a moderate easterly wind flow, will cause occasional showery periods over the region, during the afternoon.

A tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles, is moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h.  This wave is expected to cause an increase in cloudiness and showers, with isolated thunderstorms over the region from tonight.

A second tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is gradually becoming better defined, with showers and thunderstorms showing signs of organization. Environmental conditions are conducive for further development of this system and a tropical depression or tropical storm is likely to form later today or on Saturday, while the system moves westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h. This system is expected to impact our region from Monday.

A third tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. This wave has a low chance of development during the next seven (7) days.
