FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Generally cloudy with scattered showers which may be locally heavy and isolated thunderstorms, mainly over the Windward Islands and areas further south. Elsewhere, partly cloudy and hazy, becoming cloudy at times with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moist and unstable conditions ahead of an approaching tropical wave will continue to cause cloudiness, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly over the southern half of the Lesser Antilles, during the forecast period.

A tropical wave located over the western Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h and is expected to affect mainly the southern half of our region from early Monday into Tuesday. This wave has a low chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next 7 days.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
