TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moisture and instability trailing a tropical wave, will continue to generate periods of cloudiness, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles, during the forecast period.

Another tropical wave associated with an area of low-pressure located over the central Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. This system has a high chance of tropical cyclone development during the next 7 days, and is expected to impact mainly the northern portion of the Lesser Antilles from late Monday into Tuesday. Interests in the region are advised to monitor the progress of this system.
