TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will generate moderate to brisk easterly winds and locally rough seas across the Eastern Caribbean region, during the next few days. Low-level clouds drifting along the wind flow, will cause a few showers over the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours.

A plume of Saharan dust haze will continue to cause a significant reduction in visibility and air quality over the region, during the next few days.

A tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Windward Islands, is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave is expected to affect the southern portion of the region, from late tonight into Tuesday.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic, during the next seven (7) days.
