FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Over the central Windward Islands and areas further south, generally cloudy and breezy, with scattered moderate to heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms. Elsewhere, fair to partly cloudy and hazy, with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A tropical wave in the vicinity of the Lesser Antilles will continue to cause cloudiness, showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over the southern half of the region, during the forecast period.

Two other tropical waves located over the central and eastern Tropical Atlantic are both moving westward near 9 mph or 15 km/h.

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will maintain moderate to brisk easterly winds, and locally rough seas across the Eastern Caribbean, over the next few days.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during the next seven (7) days.
