TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Patches of low-level clouds moving with the wind flow will cause some showers over the region, during the forecast period.

Showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure located about 700 miles east-southeast of the Lesser Antilles have changed little in organization during the past several hours.  Environmental conditions are marginally conducive, and any development should be slow to occur while the system moves generally west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph or 17 to 24 KM/H. Conditions are forecast to become unfavorable for further development in a couple of days.

This system is expected to affect the central and southern Eastern Caribbean islands from late Tuesday into Wednesday.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
