An approaching tropical wave will bring cloudy, moist, and unstable conditions, with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the region during the next 24 hours.
This wave is currently east of the Lesser Antilles, moving westward at about 17 mph or 28 km/h. There is a high potential for it to develop into a short-lived tropical depression this weekend as it nears or passes north of the northern Leeward Islands.
Additionally, another tropical wave over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving west at 12 mph or 19 km/h, with medium chance for development over the next couple of days.
