Over the southern Windward Islands and areas further south, partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Elsewhere, fair skies becoming cloudy at times, with a few showers.
TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
Moisture and instability associated with the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone, will cause scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the southern portion of the region, during the next 24 hours. Weak unstable conditions will cause a few showers over the remainder of the Lesser Antilles, during the forecast period.
A tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 10 mph or 17 km/h. Shower and thunderstorm activity associated with this wave has diminished this morning, and the chances of it becoming a tropical depression are decreasing. The system is expected to approach the Lesser Antilles by the middle part of next week. Interests in the region should continue to monitor its progress.
