FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES
Over the southern Windward Islands and areas further south, partly cloudy to cloudy with some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Elsewhere, fair skies becoming cloudy at times, with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone, is moderately active over the southern portion of the region. Weak unstable conditions will cause a few scattered showers over the remainder of the Lesser Antilles, during the forecast period.

A tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h. Shower and thunderstorm activity associated with this wave have diminished, and the chances of it becoming a tropical depression are decreasing. The system is expected to approach the Lesser Antilles by the middle part of next week. Interests in the region should continue to monitor its progress.
