TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
The Atlantic High-pressure system will generate moderate easterly winds across the Lesser Antilles during the forecast period. Weak unstable conditions will result in showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms over the southern portion of the region, tonight and tomorrow morning.
Two tropical waves located over the central and eastern Tropical Atlantic are both moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h.
A third tropical wave is forecast to emerge off the west coast of Africa over the next couple of days. Some slow development of this wave is expected over the weekend or early next week, as it moves west-northwest near 15 mph or 24 km/h, across the Tropical Atlantic.
