Showers and thunderstorms associated with a broad area of low-pressure and a tropical wave, located midway between the Windward Islands and the coast of west Africa, have become better organized and a tropical depression or storm is likely to form in the next day or two. This system is moving toward the west-northwest near 13 mph or 20 km/h, over the central Tropical Atlantic.
