TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moist and unstable conditions will cause some cloudiness, showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms, over the region during the forecast period.

A tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.

A second tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 13 mph or 20 km/h. This wave has a low chance of tropical cyclone development over the next 7 days.

At 11:00 am today, the center of Tropical Storm Jerry was located near latitude 28.5 North, longitude 63.2 West or about 460 miles (740 km) south southeast of Bermuda. Jerry is moving toward the north near 16 mph (26 km/h) and this general motion is expected to continue today. A turn toward the northeast is forecast on Sunday, followed by and eastward motion on Monday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph (85 km/h), with higher gusts.  weakening is forecast during the next few days and Jerry could degenerate into a trough of low pressure at any time.
