A shear line will continue to cause cloudiness, showers and thunderstorms over the northern half of the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, the Atlantic High-Pressure System will be the dominant weather feature across the remainder of the Lesser Antilles.
A tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. This wave is expected to affect the region by Saturday.
Another tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 18 mph or 30 km/h. Some gradual development of this system is possible over the next 7 days and is expected to bring heavy rainfall and gusty winds over the Windward Islands late this weekend.
