TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
Moisture and instability in the low levels of the atmosphere over the region,
will cause a few occasional showers over the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours.
A weak tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles
is moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h and is expected to affect the region
on Saturday. Dry Saharan air in the wave’s environment is limiting shower activity with this wave.
A second tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving
westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h.
A third tropical wave located near the West African coast has a low chance of
development over the next few days as it moves westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h.
