FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Generally cloudy with scattered showers, which may be heavy in some locations, and isolated thunderstorms, over the Windward Islands and areas further south. A gradual improvement is expected overnight. Elsewhere, partly cloudy and hazy, becoming cloudy at times, with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A tropical wave will continue to produce cloudiness, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, over the southern half of the Lesser Antilles. The wave will move away from our region overnight and has a low chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next 7 days, while it moves westward over the central and western Caribbean Sea.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.
