An area of low-pressure located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 8 mph or 13 km/h. This system has a low chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next seven days.

A second tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave is expected to merge with an area of low-pressure located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic and has a high chance of tropical cyclone development during the next seven days.
