FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Fair to partly cloudy and hazy with widely scattered showers today. An increase in cloudiness with showers, which may be heavy at times, and isolated thunderstorms is expected over the Windward Islands and areas further south from tonight.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Weak unstable conditions will cause some scattered showers over the Lesser Antilles today.

A plume of Saharan dust haze will cause a reduction in visibility and air quality across the Eastern Caribbean region, during the forecast period.

The Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone is expected to cause cloudiness, showers and isolated thunderstorms over the southern half of the region from tonight.

Two tropical waves located over the western and eastern Tropical Atlantic, are moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
