TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A weak tropical wave will cause occasionally cloudy skies, with some widely scattered showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms over the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours.

Another tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. Gradual development of this wave is expected during the next few days, and a tropical depression could form toward the end of the week or this weekend. This system should approach the vicinity of the Leeward Islands on Friday.

A third tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic, continues to produce a concentrated area of showers and thunderstorms. Development of this wave is possible over the next couple of days, as the system moves westward at around 15 mph or 24 km/h.
