Fair skies, occasionally becoming cloudy with a few showers tonight. An increase in cloudiness, showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms is expected from tomorrow.
TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
An approaching tropical wave, is positioned a few hundred miles east of the Windward Islands. Although this system has a very low probability of further development, it is forecast to impact the Lesser Antilles beginning Monday night and continuing into Tuesday, with an increase in periods of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Another tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic, is also moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. Some slow development of this system is possible within the next 7 days. At 5:00 pm today Gabrielle developed into a hurricane as it continues to move away from our region.
