FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Generally cloudy with showers and isolated thunderstorms, over the southern Windward Islands. Elsewhere, fair to occasionally cloudy, hazy and breezy, with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moderate to brisk easterly winds are expected across the region during the next day or two.

A plume of Saharan dust haze will continue to reduce visibility and air quality over the Lesser Antilles during the next couple of days.

A tropical wave located several hundred miles east of the Windward Islands is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This system is expected to begin affecting the southern part of the region from late tonight into tomorrow.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h.

A third tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 9 mph or 15 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during the next 7 days.
