TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
The Atlantic High-pressure system will maintain light to moderate easterly winds along with generally stable and warm conditions across the Lesser Antilles, during the forecast period.
A tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h.
A short-lived tropical depression could form later today or Friday from an area of low pressure just off the west coast of Africa. Strong upper-level winds should end the chances of further development by the weekend. The system is expected to move northwestward to northward over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic, during the next couple of days.
