TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
The Atlantic High Pressure System will generate moderate to brisk easterly winds and rough seas around the Eastern Caribbean region for the next few days.
A large plume of Saharan dust will continue to affect our region for the next couple of days, causing low visibility and below normal air quality.
A tropical wave located several hundred miles east of the Windward Islands is moving rapidly westward near 23 mph or 37 km/h. This system is expected to cause some showers and possibly thunderstorms over the southern Windward Islands tonight.
Another tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic is also moving westward near 23 mph or 37 km/h. This wave is expected to bring cloudiness, showers and thunderstorms over the Eastern Caribbean on Wednesday and Thursday.
