A tropical wave is expected to generate some showers and isolated thunderstorms over the region from tonight.
Another tropical wave over the central tropical Atlantic is moving westward at about 20 mph or 31 km/h. Environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive for development of this system and a tropical depression is likely to form within the next two to three days as the system nears the lesser Antilles.
