A LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES EAST OF THE LESSER ANTILLES IS ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE. SOME SLOW DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO, AS IT MOVES TOWARD THE LESSER ANTILLES NEAR 17 MPH OR 28 KM/H. IT IS EXPECTED TO BRING SOME MODERATE TO HEAVY SHOWERS, THUNDERSTORMS AND GUSTY WINDS OVER THOSE ISLANDS FROM LATE SUNDAY CONTINUING INTO TUESDAY.
