TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
A tropical wave located several hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave is expected to affect the region from later today into tomorrow. A large but disorganized area of showers and thunderstorms has developed on the northern portion of this wave. Some slow development of this system is possible during the next 5 days while it moves slowly northwestward.
Another tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave has the potential to become a tropical depression early next week while it moves westward across the eastern and central tropical Atlantic Ocean.
