A large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms associated with a westward moving wave is located a few hundred miles east of the Leeward Islands. Some slow development of this system is possible during the next 5 days while it moves slowly northwestward.
Another tropical wave associated with Gabrielle is located over the central tropical Atlantic is and is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
A third tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave has the potential to become a tropical depression early next week while it moves westward across the tropical Atlantic Ocean.
