The tropical wave, located a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles, is no longer associated with an area of low pressure. The wave continues to move slowly westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h. Moisture and instability associated with this wave is expected to affect the region from later today.
Two other tropical waves located over the central and eastern tropical Atlantic are moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. Some slow development of the eastern tropical Atlantic wave is possible during the next few days.
