TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
The lower atmosphere over our region will remain sufficiently moist and unstable for a few showers to develop over the islands during the next 24 hours.
A weak tropical wave located several hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles is moving very slowly westward at about 10 mph or 16 km/h. This system is expected to cause some showery periods over the Eastern Caribbean islands on Saturday and Sunday.
A second tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 or 28 km/h.
A third tropical wave located near the west African coast is moving westward near 14 mph or 23 km/h.
