FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with some scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms mainly over the Leeward Islands. Elsewhere it will be fair to occasionally cloudy with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Lingering moisture and instability in the wake of a tropical wave, along with favourable upper level conditions, will continue to cause some showery periods and possibly isolated thunderstorms mainly over the Leeward Islands during the next 24 hours. 

Another tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h and is expected over our region late Tuesday into Wednesday.

A third tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 14 mph or 22 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the tropical Atlantic during the next five days.
