FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with some scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms mainly over the Leeward Islands and Southern portion of the region. Elsewhere, fair skies becoming cloudy at times with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moisture and instability along with favourable upper level conditions, will continue to cause some showery periods and possibly isolated thunderstorms mainly over the Leeward Islands today. 

A tropical wave is expected to cause an increase in cloudiness and showers mainly over the southern part of our region during the next 24 hours.

A second tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 23 mph or 37 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the tropical Atlantic during the next five days.
