FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Fair to partly cloudy skies with a few showers over the Leeward and northern Windward islands. Further south, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with some scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

  A Tropical wave located just east of the Lesser Antilles is expected to cause some cloudy periods with showers and possibly thunderstorms, over the southern Windward Islands during the next 24 hours.

  A second tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.  This wave is expected to bring cloudiness, showers and isolated thunderstorms over our region from Thursday into Friday.

  A third tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic just off  the West African coast is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
