TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward near 20 mph or 31km/h. This wave is expected to cause cloudiness, showers and isolated thunderstorms over the Eastern Caribbean region during the next 24 hours.

A large plume of Saharan dust trails this tropical wave and as a result a resurgence in dust concentrations over the region is expected after the passage of this tropical wave.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the tropical Atlantic during the next five days.
