TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A weak tropical wave will continue to affect the Eastern Caribbean region

during the next 24 hours. The presence of Saharan dust is limiting shower activity associated with this wave.

Another tropical wave located several hundred miles east of the southern Windward Islands is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Some slight development of this system is possible during the next day or so as it moves westward to west northwestward at about 20 mph or 31 km/h. Strong upper level winds are forecast to inhibit further development mid-week. This system is expected to bring cloudiness, showers and thunderstorms over our region from late Tuesday into Wednesday.

A third tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving

westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
