FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Over the southernmost portion of the Lesser Antilles it will be generally cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Further north it will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Lingering moisture and instability in the wake of a tropical wave will continue to generate cloudy periods, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the extreme southern portion of the region during the next 24 hours.

Another strong tropical wave associated with a broad area of low pressure located over the Central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. Environmental conditions remain favorable for development and a tropical depression is likely to form within the next day or two. This system is expected to reach our region by late Friday or early Saturday.

A third tropical wave located over the Eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward at 17 mph or 28 km/h.
